Gotomeeting Overview

in Product-review

The reviews already online for Gotomeeting were very positive. Users found it to be reliable and easy to use. There were a few users here and there who had technical issues. Regardless, the overall picture is that Gotomeeting is a quality product. Before deciding to buy it you should check out other options. Although its $49 per month price tag sounds very attractive, it's not cheap, especially when you compare it to other alternatives. Gotomeeting is primarily used to easily present files to anyone with an internet connection. This program makes your desktop visible to others over a secure internet connection.

The standard Gotomeeting package allows an unlimited amount of meetings for up to 15 people. If you want to host a meeting for more you can get one of their webinar packages, which allows an audience of up to 1000 people.

If all you need to do is have a voice conference, you can do one with up to 5 people of Skype for free. If you also want to easily share information, Dimdim is one of the few products out there that offers a free web conference alternative. So, before buying Gotomeeting you have to check out the free options that you have before buying anything. Just because something is more expensive, it does not mean that it is better. All it means is that the company is looking to make some money. You can also get Gotomeeting for free, just keep in mind that it is only a trial period, which lasts 30 days.

One of the big claims that Gotomeeting makes is that it will save you money. Sure, if you suddenly don't need to travel anymore, you and/or your business will save a lot of money. Seeing that the yearly package is $468, this is a very realistic possibility. But don't just buy it to buy it. You want to make sure that you use it as well.
